Infectious Disease Research Day 2015

The first Infectious Diseases Research Day features speakers from three departments across the University of Kentucky campus and a keynote address from Arturo Casadevall, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor and chair of the W. Harry Feinstone Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. Posters, lunch, and a 3 minute dissertation competition for graduate students are included in the day. The goal of this event is to encourage interactions among investigators interested in the infectious diseases of plants, animals, and humans across the UK campus. Activities will take place at the Plant Sciences building and the Good Barn on the UK campus.
